Starting in December, Queens Long Island Community Services is offering a new support group! This has been a challenging year, and it is more important than ever to be there for each other. Students across the country are going back to college unsure of the future. The social aspect of college has changed and Zoom classes can be an additional challenge for many students. Join us for a new support group designed for college students! Starting December 2020, we will offer a v...irtual support group for college students Fridays at 2pm. With the holiday season around the corner, we may find ourselves even more stressed. From trying to find that perfect gift to extra crowded stores while trying to maintain physical distancing requirements it can be hard not to feel overwhelmed. Considering all the events of this past year, keep in mind healthy habits, and be kind to those around you. COVID-19 Update: In the interest of safety, we are continuing to provide all our services through virtual platforms. We provide such services as individual and family counseling and support groups. Our support group "Coping with Change in a Covid-19 world" is still meeting weekly via Zoom! Join us on Mondays from 5:00pm to 6:30pm for an open conversation about the way we handle all of these new challenges. Please reach out to us via email, phone or Facebook for more information!

Tonight from 5-6:30 we are continuing our "Coping with Life's Changes" virtual support group! Using the Zoom platform we host an open conversation regarding life's twists and turns. Our virtual group is lead by a trained professional and can help you adjust to our new way of life. Please contact us if you are interested for more information! Not interested in a support group? We also offer individual, family and group counseling. All counseling is done remotely using telehealth.

Space is still available for next Monday's digital "Coping with Life's Changes" support group from 5:00 to 6:30! This a great opportunity to talk to peers and mental health professionals about what is going on and strategies to get through it. We also have individualized, couple and family counseling available digitally to help support our community during this time. We will get through this together! Our "Coping with Life's Changes" support group will be starting back up in digital fashion! This is a chance to have an open conversation with your peers and mental health professionals about what is going on. Every Monday, starting April 20th, the group will meet from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
