Michael Oren just sent me this amazing article he penned on the huge shift in the Middle East - going from the old obsession on the Palestinian conflict to the new opportunities the region has due to the peace treaties Israel signed with the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco. As I wrote back to Michael this morning, I’m hoping the new US administration will not revert to the old model and instead take advantage of the new paradigm. Given the climate right now though, anything associ...ated with Trump - even something as good as the Abrahamic accords - may be seen as tainted by some on the left , but hopefully people will see that what Israel, the Middle East and the whole world has to gain here simply outweighs any animosity felt towards the President.
