I am always flooded with emotions on Thanksgiving which are amplified by the adrenaline letdown of a very busy week. But this year is different. This year I awoke tearful and overwhelmed with gratitude. 2020 has been a rough one for so many and as a small business owner it has brought me to my knees more than once. But then beautiful acts of humanity happen and I get up, brush myself off and stand tall. I am so grateful for all of my amazing customers new and old who rene...w my energy to keep moving forward... My heart is bursting with joy thanks to the amazing owners of @fabulousflowersrochester who organized a very successful pie fundraiser of our pies for @monroe_county_eagles and to the players who sold 170 pies! And to Jill and Jeremy @bluebarncidery for hooking me up with the most amazing apples for our pies! Business has not been easy for either of these two this year, and still they are lending a hand and thinking of how they can help others. Happy Thanksgiving everyone... and sorry for the long post! Good Morning! Just touching base to let our amazing customers in on where we’ve been the last few weeks... Many months ago our son Collin suffered a disc hernia tip while playing football. He worked very hard to recover and was able to wrestle in the State tournament... and then the pain came back. This week we learned that surgery would be needed to resolve the issue. He will have surgery on Monday and we look forward to him feeling better soon! As a result, we are temporarily suspending the Sunday Sale until further notice so we can be available to help Collin through his recovery. We really miss seeing you every week and hope you are all doing well. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to call!
