I hear this ALL. THE. TIME. It’s wrong and it’s infuriating! There’s no such thing as we don’t do that here. That may, in fact, be a factual statement for the school district. At this point in time, they are not offering that strategy or service to any child in your district. Who cares? I in IEP-individual. If the child needs it and it’s appropriate, you do it.

At the end of the day, it helps to think about the events and all the things that we felt during the day. Goodnight. There's no "should" or "should not" when... it comes to having feelings. They're part of who we are and their origins are beyond our control. When we can believe that, we may find it easier to make constructive choices about what to do with those feelings. See more
