Carmela is the original maker of Tomat Mozzorell at Ragonese Imports, she has been with Vinny and John since the beginning (literally, she's their mother). She ...used to clean the judge’s chambers down at the Court of Appeals, wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get to her day job, then come in at 9:30 am to work at Ragonese, in the beginning it was her and her husband cooking until John and Vinny eventually took it over and now you probably recognize her as one of the regulars running the register. One day they had someone come in early in the morning during a snowstorm and request Tomat Mozzorell and she made it on the spot for them, ever since she makes it in the morning as a part of her routine. Carmela hasn’t been coming into the store because of Covid, but they hope she can gradually start coming in soon, she misses working with her family. See more
