RON was flying off the tray today!! I don't blame you, wow are they a stunner! Ionantha Ron is a Tillandsia variety that looks much like a Rubra with it's stiff, rosette shaped foliage, except it is much smaller at maturity. Also, when Ron blushes, they reallllyyyy blush! Their blush coloring is a cross between a salmon and a red!! The contrasting Flower spikes are deep Violet. ... Views from my house and personal air plant collection. These windows face South and are perfect for air plants during our Northern Winter. In Summer, I will bring down the shades for part of the day to give them diffused light. Plants are my meditation, give me solace, happiness and hope.
