A new discovery for our fellow gardeners and butterfly enthusiasts: Many home improvement and large corporate stores that sell butterfly plants are using NEONICOTINOID on their plants! BEWARE, this is a pesticide used to kill white flies and aphids however it also kills butterflies and caterpillars. When buying your next plant see if it is treated with this pesticide before trying to attract butterflies to your yard.
