Rally Niagara through unfortunate circumstances will need to move locations effective Jan 2nd. The last day of operations at 4090 Maple Rd. will be on 12/31/20. The new location will be a 1/2 mile away at St. Leo the Great Event Center - 889 Sweet Home Rd. (Sweet Home near Maple). Court Reservations, open play, and leagues will be continuing with expanded hours. Instruction classes will also be offered. Depending on points scored there will be a restructuring of folks in groups each week (up or down) to ensure competitive games are played. At the end of 5 weeks, trophies will be given to the top individuals in each group. Hello pickleballers, starting this coming Thursday, Rally Niagara will be offering open play indoor pickleball in the evenings on Thursday's at 5:30 PM and a second time slot at 7 PM. Rally Niagara - Communication Groups ( For individuals who want to join up with similarly skilled players to reserve courts to play Badminton and/or Pickleball ) Rally Niagara is open and court reservations are now available online for groups of 2 to 5 players. The court reservation system takes the place of open play for the foreseeable future due to safety protocols in place at the club.... A new tool (app) is being introduced to bring similarly skilled players together for exciting recreational and competitive game play. It is through WhatsApp and features chat rooms for both badminton and pickleball in order to form groups for reservation of courts at Rally Niagara. For example, an intermediate skilled badminton player is looking for 3 others to join him or her at Rally Niagara on Friday evening for doubles game play. The player sends a message via WhatsApp to the players of an assigned skill group to see who might be interested in joining. Three others communicate via the app that they are interested and they form a group and decide to reserve a court for game play on Friday evening at Rally Niagara. WhatsApp chat rooms will be managed by an administrator of Rally Niagara and if you are interested in being a part of a group, feel free to complete a short google form to provide information and desired (self evaluation) skill level via buttons on website home page (https://www.rallyniagarabadminton.com/). There are 3 options for pickleball and 4 for badminton. Within 48 hours a link will be sent to you either via text message and e-mail allowing you to join a group and downloading the app if needed. We are so excited to inform that badminton & pickleball is back at Rally Niagara. Both NYS and ECC have approved Rally Niagara's safety plan and provided approval for game play to begin again starting this Friday, August 7th. Due to safety protocols put in place, court reservations are required to be made online through button below or on website in order to be granted access to the gymnasium. There will be no admission without an online reservation. This system will take the... place of open play which is postponed until regular operations take place in the future. All monthly and annual memberships are suspended at this time, but will be reinstated when future open play sessions resume. There will be 6 courts available for reservation for groups of 2 to 5 people in the evenings 7 days a week and in the mornings as well on Saturday and Sunday. Time slots and pricing are as follows. Evenings - 7 PM to 8:30 PM - $32 - (Court mat -badminton shoes required) Evenings - 8:45 PM to 10:15 PM - $32 - (Court mat -badminton shoes required) Evenings - 7 PM to 8:30 PM - $28 - (Wood court) Evenings - 8:45 PM to 10:15 PM - $28 - (Wood court) Weekend mornings - 8 AM to 9:30 AM - $32 - (Court mat -badminton shoes required) Weekend mornings - 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM - $32 - (Court mat -badminton shoes required) Weekend mornings - 8 AM to 9:30 AM - $28 - (Wood court) Weekend mornings - 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM - $28 - (Wood court) * If a group desires to play in a second time slot after their time is done and if court is available it will be offered at a rate of $20 for court mat and $16 for wood court. Between time slots there will be a cleaning and sanitation done. In addition please note the following requirements: * Cars will need to enter ECC at Tech Drive from either Main St. or Wehrle Dr., Make a turn on to Aero Dr. to get to gym (Bell Sports Center). There may be a temperature checkpoint by ECC security. * When entering main doors, follow posted instructions and observe lines on floor to maintain 6 ft distance from any other groups present. You will be called into gym by employee on duty. * Check-in at front desk to confirm your reservation and names. Note: all reservations should be made online at a minimum of 1 hour before arriving. * Masks are required at all times with the exception of when your group is on court. Masks are available for purchase if needed. * No equipment will be available to be borrowed. If shuttles, pickleballs, or rackets are needed, they can be purchased at front desk. * Hand sanitizer bottles are available on each court for your convenience and at front desk. As of March 15th, Rally Niagara will be temporarily closed for safety reasons due to the corona virus pandemic. All instructional classes, leagues, and open play will be postponed until further notice. A re-evaluation will take place next weekend and we will provide a status update as we move forward. The basics of badminton will be taught through instruction, games, and fun activities. Correct grip, different types of service, overhead strokes, underhand strokes, basic footwork badminton rules, scoring, & etiquette will be learned. Those students with prior badminton experience will achieve a higher level of consistency hitting the bird, proper footwork, and court strategy. Instruction will include various badminton shots that include clears, drops, smashes, net shots, lifts, and game play strategy. Preparation for tournament play will be emphasized. Experienced badminton students will learn advanced techniques and strategies for playing at a high skill level. There will be a focus on precision, speed, agility, and stamina through conditioning. Students will be encouraged to "go that extra mile" in order to compete at a high level in regional tournament play. Opportunities to participate in tournament play with other badminton clubs and youth from school badminton programs is offered. Sunday class includes end of season pizza party. **All Rally Niagara youth coaches are background screened and are certified in Safety Sports Training.

Open badminton for Sunday afternoon / evening is cancelled due to youth tournament. However, feel free to come and watch the youth as they compete for trophies, medals, and $300 in cash prizes.

This coming Sunday, Rally Niagara will be hosting its 9th annual "Singles" youth tournament. It will be an exciting action packed day of competitive badminton play.
