At our October 9th, Rotary meeting Sharon Martini, Director From Meals On Wheels, gave us a presentation explaining how Covid has negatively affected their number of volunteers and funds available, while those in need have greatly expanded. However, she also made us aware of the breath of service they give to the community well beyond just delivering meals, but concerned with the well-being of each individual senior that they help with food and other services. So please volunteer, if you can. They have this great app that volunteers can download to their phone that helps with providing deliveries of meals and tracking the well-being of those in need. The Ramapo Valley Rotary was happy to help MOW with a $250 donation. Thank you for all that you do, for those in need, in our community.

Rotary members gathered Friday to set up and begin our fundraising lawn sale. Tom and his buddy transporting a carload of items from his barn to the lawn for set up. The sale went through Saturday and was a great success! Thanks to all our members who participated and for all of the general public who purchased items. The funds will help support, our support, of the community..
