Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family members, and the members of the Monsey Fire Dept on the loss of lifelong member Harold Kuchler, affectionately known as Kuch. Kuch served our country in the Korean war, and continued serving as a lifelong member of the Monsey fire department. Kuch was a staple in the Rockland County fire service, and he will surely be missed. Rest In Peace.

Erin and Logan were playing outside near a address where we responded to a medical call. When the crew came out, the kids had drawn a thank you on the sidewalk for our crew. We appreciate you guys!

Last night at approximately 930pm, we got called out as a third ambulance to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the Garden state parkway. One person had to be extricated from the pickup truck, three people were transported to the hospital, two via Faist Ambulance Corps, and one via Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps. On scene for extrication were South Spring Valley, and Pearl River Fire Departments.

We were able to fulfill all the needs of the families of cherry lane ! Due to the generosity of this community we are also donating a van full of food and supplies to the Sloatsburg food pantry !!! The Cherry lane school is holding a food drive tomorrow (Sunday, May 31 2020). Drop off location is at our station on Rt 59 (next to Ramapo town hall). Please come by with your donations between 12 noon and 4pm. Thank you
