So proud and excited to introduce Melissa Charles. Melissa worked at Ramaquois for several summers and distinguished herself as a group counselor in Jr. Camp. Nowadays, Melissa is a scientist who works for Pfizer and was part of the team that helped develop the vaccine for COVID-19! We'd like to think her inspiration came from her many summers as part of the Ramaquois team...

Wishing our entire Ramaquois community a wonderful holiday season, a great winter break, and a happy and, most importantly, HEALTHY new year! We can hardly wait to return to what we know and love and turn the page toward #twicethefunin21 for our most rewarding camp season yet.

Camp in the winter! Many people have never seen Ramaquois covered in snow, so here are some before and after the storm pics. So beautiful and peaceful, but we can’t wait till it’s filled once again with our amazing campers and staff for #twicethefunin21

One of the many highlights of running Family Camp is moments like this. @sarakane515 and @kara_m_b met at Ramaquois as Teenas in 1988 (this was their bunk!), have remained close friends since, and shared a day back at camp with their respective families. Campers then. Close friends now. Ramaquois forever.

Here’s another #tbt showing move-in day (remember, it was a sleep-away camp!) on Boys’ Side circa 1956. Bunks 1-4 don’t look much different than today, but look at bunk 5 and how different it is now! And there was no brown bridge...probably because there was no fields 3&4 or fields 7&8! Some things have changed, but the values at Ramaquois have remained the same.

Camp Ramaquois is excited to announce our Fall Family Camp! (Information and registration can be found at ramaquois.com/family-camp.) Families/groups of up to 12 people can sign up for a 2.5-hour time slot to come to Ramaquois, play a sport, do a craft, go in a boat on the lake, make some s’mores, and just have fun! Feel free to bring a family or two that are considering Ramaquois for their children and may want to come see what makes Ramaquois such a special place for so many families.
