have decided to do some punchneedle classes here at the Carriage House starting in July. The first one that I will offer is one done of hollyhocks. I will have an alternative project if you want to come and learn the art of punchneedle, but don't like hollyhocks. I love them. The second class that I have decided definitely to do here or at the Art Gallery Downtown Seneca Falls is a stenciled canvas floorcloth class. Pictures of both projects are posted on this message. T...he floorcloth picture is much better in person. It is done with stencils and I have several sets of stencils. I might see if I can do that class at the Seneca Falls Recreation Center as there is more table space there. That one will be in November! Give me some feedback if you are interested and what days/times work best for you! If you want to stop by and see each of these projects completed, let me know and we can set up a visit. Ted and I have both had our vaccinations! I always have coffee and cookies for visitors! See more

We are also next door to the Seneca Falls Historical Society! The clock in their back yard faces our front door. There is plenty of parking along our double wide driveway. The Open House will be from 10:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. on Monday October 5 to Friday, October 9th. I will be serving a treat (bundt ca...ke or pumpkin bread, coffee, cider, and tea. I am working on fall projects right now and as soon as I get a few framed, they will be photographed and put on this page for sale. Our daughter, Nancy Jones, is opening a shop in her 1940's Farmhouse soon and I will also be selling my things there! It will be located on Route 96A between Interlaken and Lodi. We will also be selling things at Brenda Eastman's Fall Festival at her barn on Route 44 between Lodi and Ovid in October! Lots of great things coming soon!

I will be posting photos of items that are for sale from Raspberry Patch Furniture, Antiques and Crafts. They can be picked up locally, delivered locally, or mailed when I figure out how to do the payments and postage. Local pickups and deliveries need to be paid when picked up or delivered.

This cover photo is of a chair I painted many years ago. It was a time-consuming project, but well worth the effort. When we moved into our Carriage House Apartment I gave the chair to Nancy. I wish I had kept it as I loved it.

You will learn how to cut a beautiful scherenschnitte valentine from parchment or linen paper with an x-acto knife on a self-healing cutting mat. You can cut as many as want during the class. I provide everything you need for the project. I also have frames you can purchase at the class and you can go home with a completely framed, ready t...o hang or display Scherenschnitte.
