This picture at first is just a cute photo of my dad and my husband (& amazing daddy to our daughter) enjoying a celebratory Father’s Day weekend beer on a beautiful day But what make this photo really feel poignant is that my husband’s father - who passed away from Alzheimer’s at far too early of an age - was also there with us celebrating. He’s always close to my husband when he wears the denim bracelet he has on in this photo, I made for him from his dad’s favorite jeans, to honor the memory of his father. A small way to keep a memory close. One client once told me that it’s like a hug from heaven. Big hugs & lots of love to those celebrating today without your dad earthside.
