RCCC Tennis Center 05.05.2022

Dear Richmond County Country Club Members, It has been my distinct honor to have served as your Director of Tennis for the past seven seasons. With mixed emotions I tendered my resignation this month. In early 2022, I will permanently relocate to Paris, France joining my wife, Naomi, finally on the same continent. Sadly, my time at The RCCC Tennis Center is coming to an end. I have made many friends here, enjoyed some great experiences, and have amazing memories of my ti...me on Staten Island. In many ways, my experiences at RCCC have been some of the best of my career. We have wonderful members, a fantastic staff and a very supportive management. I will miss being a part of the RCCC family. As Director of Tennis, I am proud of many accomplishments at RCCC: membership growth, significant facility development such as our five new sub-irrigated courts, landscaping and pro shop enhancements, beverage service, adult and junior program development, event participation, cardio tennis, and inter/intra club league play. The Tennis Center atmosphere continues to improve, providing a welcoming environment for all. Although I will miss the membership, the events, the fantastic junior program, and the amazing tennis courts, I am very excited to join my wife after years of living in different cities. Since Paris is an ideal holiday location, I hope to see some RCCC members from time to time visiting the City of Lights. I will be at the Tennis Center on a limited schedule; however, I hope to see those of you who are willing to brave the weather for some tennis . . . until it’s too cold to play. My final day at RCCC is planned for December 18th; and I will be leaving for France within the first few months of 2022. Thank you for all the calls, texts, emails and visits over the past two weeks to wish me well, it truly means a lot to me. Au revoir et à bientôt. Sincerely yours, Scott Nagle
