ATTENTION! WE HAVE A YAYA IN THE SOUTHERN TIER! Amber Updike, a recent Watkins Glen High school graduate and Southern Tier STEM Academy student has been recognized as the New York State Western Region Youth Ambassador of the Year (YAYA) for 2020. The award, sponsored by Reality Check of New York State, honors the outstanding work of young people who have taken the lead in holding tobacco companies accountable for marketing to youth. Amber, we (STTAC) are SO PROUD of you a...nd we all feel honored to have gotten to know you and work with you over the last 5 years. You are an outstanding member of Reality Check, and the community in general. Your hard work does not go unnoticed- you are so deserving of this award! Everyone, please join us in congratulating Amber on this HUGE accomplishment!

We are sad that our annual Youth Summit cannot happen this Summer. BUT, we have big plans to engage everyone this year, even with the unprecedented times we are living in!
