Happy Father’s Day. Hope everyone enjoys their day
It was a beautiful Night honoring our past commodore Jennifer DeVito tonight after A Year of Unprecedented events. Thank you for the leadership you showed during the pandemic
Nice start from this Wednesday’s Marshall race.
Tomorrow Tuesday June 8th is the first night for kayaking. We will leave the dock at 6:30. Hope to see you there
Wishing all of our Jewish friends a Happy Hanukkah. May the light of Hanukkah shine love, peace, warmth and happiness this holiday season.
Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving.
Missing the days when we could honor our commodore like this
Octoberfest at RCYC. Fun times
2020 Veterans Day Breakfast at the new Richmond County Yacht Club This year’s Veterans Day Breakfast will be on Wednesday November 11th rain or shine at RCYC. Coffee will be ready by 8:30 a.m. and a light breakfast will follow. You do not have to be a Veteran to attend, feel encouraged to bring a relative or friend that is one. All vets are encouraged to wear something to signify what service they were in, a hat, shirt or even their uniform. Also, bring pictures from your time in service. At 10:00 a.m. we will be taking a few pictures, one with all attendees and one with a few or all veterans, RCYC members or not.
Congratulations to RCYC’s own Cannon Ball for winning the Spinnaker Division and Tenacity for winning the Non-Spinnaker Division of the 2020 Poco Loco Bay Race.
Although we can’t have our annual Veterans Day breakfast this year due to Covid restrictions we want to thank and remember all those who served
20 boats ready to kill it, tomorrow!
Wishing all who celebrate a sweet New Year
How ironic that today 8 years after Super storm sandy we are once again experiencing a storm with an almost full moon and snow on the forecast for tomorrow. I’m sure this won’t match the wrath of Super Storm Sandy. Be safe everyone

We will never forget those members and family members who were lost on this day 19 years ago. May God bless and comfort their families and all those who have suffered from the effects of this attack on America
CONGRATULATIONS, to Poco Loco skippered by P/C Carl P for winning the Past Commodore Division of the Past Commodore Cup Race. Congratulations, to Farfelu skippered and single-handed by Craig W for winning the Mere Mortal Division.
It was a great night for kayaking last night before the storm rolled in
Just a reminder that the 2020 Poco Loco Bay Race (Pandemic Edition) is Saturday, September 19th, 2020. This is a medium distance race of about 15 to 20 miles (depending on wind) that starts near Old Orchard Shoal (outside of RCYC) and runs over to Brooklyn or into New York Harbor, under the Verrazano Bridge and back. There are Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker PHRF fleets. It's a lot of fun!! Skippers: This is a race only event and the cost is only $25.00... For more information please go to the Poco Loco website: https://www.rcyachtclub.org/PocoLocoBayRace.html Let’s support sailboat racing on Raritan Bay LET’S GO POCO LOCO!
