2020 Veterans Day Breakfast at the new Richmond County Yacht Club This year’s Veterans Day Breakfast will be on Wednesday November 11th rain or shine at RCYC. Coffee will be ready by 8:30 a.m. and a light breakfast will follow. You do not have to be a Veteran to attend, feel encouraged to bring a relative or friend that is one. All vets are encouraged to wear something to signify what service they were in, a hat, shirt or even their uniform. Also, bring pictures from your time in service. At 10:00 a.m. we will be taking a few pictures, one with all attendees and one with a few or all veterans, RCYC members or not.

How ironic that today 8 years after Super storm sandy we are once again experiencing a storm with an almost full moon and snow on the forecast for tomorrow. I’m sure this won’t match the wrath of Super Storm Sandy. Be safe everyone

We will never forget those members and family members who were lost on this day 19 years ago. May God bless and comfort their families and all those who have suffered from the effects of this attack on America

Just a reminder that the 2020 Poco Loco Bay Race (Pandemic Edition) is Saturday, September 19th, 2020. This is a medium distance race of about 15 to 20 miles (depending on wind) that starts near Old Orchard Shoal (outside of RCYC) and runs over to Brooklyn or into New York Harbor, under the Verrazano Bridge and back. There are Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker PHRF fleets. It's a lot of fun!! Skippers: This is a race only event and the cost is only $25.00... For more information please go to the Poco Loco website: https://www.rcyachtclub.org/PocoLocoBayRace.html Let’s support sailboat racing on Raritan Bay LET’S GO POCO LOCO!
