REAL DEAL Fitness and Conditioning

Years have past since l seen or spoke to the gentleman known in the surrounding gyms as " Tan Man" Rick. This morning,at the gym WOW l ran into him.Rick has battled a serious heart condition, and never quit working at his fitness goals and of course his tan. It was really nice to catch up with Rick today, who took time to pose for a photo holding up a " Real Deal" Joel Davis business card. I told Rick he looked great, and that he maintained his tan, he simply said ..." Yeah, l am waiting for them to Start up the tanning here" (Other photo you see " Tan Man" Rick with former " Almost Impossible Dream Team" members Stan " The Man" & Sterling " Extra Credit" Issac.

Sad news was learned today of the passing of Melissa Coates, who most recently worked by the side of Sabu. Melissa had a great career as a female body builder, and also worked for the WWE. I met Melissa back in 2010 at The New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony. Melissa and l went to eat and drink after the event, and l drove her to the nearby train station. Also at the restaurant was legend " Super Fly" Jimmy Snuka RIP, who came over to the table Melissa and l was sitting at, and said to me " Joel Davis, Brother Only you can do what you do" . That night l did the induction speech for the late great " Public Enemy" Johnny Grunge and Roco Rock. Melissa was 50 years old, Rest in Peace Melissa Coates.
