Real Life NYC

It's 2020 and wow, has it been tense! After scrolling for any amount of time, it's easy to get sucked into the craziness in the comment section. And we've been wondering, whose side is God on? In all the of the "US VS. THEM" categories and arguments, what should we make of it?... Take 5 minutes to be encouraged by God's word as you hear an answer that you may not have thought of!

What if we really believed God was thinking about us, ALL THE TIME? One of the ways someone expresses love, can be by sending you this message, "hey, thinking about you." (Unless they're sus) Jesus is constantly sending that message to us, even before He spoke the earth into existence.... That means we can trust Him and His words. It also means we won't put the focus of our identity on the thoughts of others, or even ourselves. #RealLifeNYC w. @ipadarath

Walk with us through Forest Park as we see Psalm 46:1 come to life! Recently, NYC got hit with some heavy winds and rain. In the same forest, some trees stood standing and others were torn down. Why? One was rooted. One was not.... "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble." - Psalm 46:1 NLT Get rooted in God. He's our strength! Love you Real Life!

This week, we join Age inside of this car which has been the setting for some of the most painful conversations, confrontations, and moments of healing in his life. It's the proof that God wants to speak to each of us wherever we are, even on the road. We begin a new series called STRONGER where we wrestle with how if we put all of life's pain and hurt in God's hands, they will become the tools by which he chisels and forms us into mature followers of Jesus.... We all have people in our lives that we call friends. Some people we call best friends. But only some have the qualities to qualify as REAL FRIENDS. Christ is a REAL friend without question. There is no judgement, dishonesty or unreliability in a friendship with Christ. He embodies all the true components of a friend and more. Jesus is the only friend that knows what you need, when you need it. He’s never late, always on time. When He shows up he exceeds expectations.
