Today was a success just over 35,000 pounds (2 26' trucks full) of food distributed in and around E. Fayette St. (east side of Syracuse) today. Thank you to all who volunteered. We will be back at it tomorrow. We will serve the neighborhood in and around the Boys and Girls club downtown in partnership with the Syracuse Municipal Housing authority.

The free food distribution on Monday, October 26th starting at 12pm is still on even though its raining. Food boxes will be distributed in the front of Parkside Commons between the 1800 and 2000 block on E Fayette St and will continue while supplies last. Just look for the Redeemer Church signs. You simply have to drive up, pop the trunk, and one of the volunteers will place the box in side. Social distancing guidelines will be observed as our community partners together.

Our Albany Campus handed out over 5000 boxes of food to families in need between Wednesday and today. So thankful for a church that is committed to serving their community!

Last night Pastor Mike was in Syracuse to announce that we finally found a building. As he said it has been a journey, but every step of the way God has been faithful. Let's keep praying!

****Correction*****Such a whirlwind I totally forgot a truck. Updated totals below. Today was a great day for a free food giveaway. We had boxes stuffed with fresh produce, dairy, meat, and such. We will have some more pictures, but wanted to post and say thank you to everyone who served. This picture is fitting for the Syracuse campus. We were mobile and creative today. God keeps us on our toes. ... We started at Nottingham high school and when things slowed down everyone jumped on their phones and set up drop points. Then we set up shop on the street and distributed right from the back of the truck to families on the Eastside. In total we gave away 17 plus pallets of food totaling around 29,000 lbs. Thanks again Redeemer!
