Oh silly bear! Ahote, one of the resident black bears at Adirondack Wildlife Refuge , went exploring for a few days but is now safely back home. I got to meet her and Luvey a few weeks ago. They both posed so nicely for me while waiting for peanuts.

They thought they were good at hiding but I saw them!

Manatee encounter and parrot on a wire. Wish I had the time to rent a kayak to get a close look at the manatee couple and their calf. (Though I don't think I would have gotten as close as them.)

It's nice that Rocket is visiting on #TakeYourDogToWorkDay , even though he actually prevented me from getting much done because we had to repeatedly go outdoors. I just love how he decided to ride home!

Beautiful, but overcast, day a few weeks ago for a leisurely walk along the Mohawk River. We saw a great blue heron, Canada geese, a wood duck family, goldfinches, yellow irises and forget-me-nots. Sharing color and black-and-white versions of all the photos.
