Tonight we had the pleasure of participating in the Dairy Parade in Watertown. It was great to see all the participants, and the hundreds of people lining the street. Almost seemed like a normal day for once. It’s overwhelming to here the little children say Thank You for your service! - unprompted. Hand pumping for the air horn, waving.. just having a great time. It was nice to see. We don’t ever look for praise for what we do, however It’s always welcomed - deep down ins...ide we appreciate it. Engine 1 got ALOT of compliments during the parade, can’t tell you how many times we heard that’s a nice truck! she was looking good tonight - #BlackOverCrimson

Incredible drone footage from yesterday’s fire. Thankfully no one was injured, however the property was deemed a complete loss. There’s multiple exposures as you can see, and only minor damage was noted on one of those. Access was extremely limited and made it a challenge to gain a water supply. Crews had to reverse lay and operate from well Over a 1000’ away to gain a stable water source. Alex Bay also responded a fire boat which was was used to control the river side of th...e structure, and supported as a second water supply. Thanks to all the mutual aid, and county car 300 for the help coordinating the arrival and staging of the units. Tonight the station had a visitor, Mr. Aiden Trickey. He presented these baked goods to Chief Hunter, on behalf of the men and women of the department. He was participating in a project for his Cub Scout Unit, Pack 74 - called An Act of Kindness. We would like to take a moment and recognize him and his hard work to complete the task at hand, and thank you and your pack from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks for thinking of us!

A huge thank you for all that helped support us today. Another successful BBQ in the books. A huge thank you to our neighboring department the Theresa FD. Without the use of their covered pits and their always willing helping hands not sure if we could have pulled it off today. Much appreciated, and forever grateful. And of course to the men and women who helped on the front lines today serving - Much appreciated, and a huge thank you to you all as well.
