We are greatly anticipating Dr. Ajemian’s lecture tomorrow. This is a hot topic being heavily debated. Matt has extensive knowledge in this area. Zoom Link: https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url

Congratulations! Very excited that the team was able to help catch and tag some of the dusky sharks for this very important project.

https://sanctuaries.noaa.gov/ma/4/conservation-photography/ We have been working with Mr. Ellenbogen for several years in various capacities. It is a privilege to have fostered a personal relationship with him at this point. We could not be more proud of his accomplishments and share in his continued passion for capturing the natural world.

https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/ne/aug20/ioos-ott-grants.html Well, the 2020 Field Season for #SOFOSharks was difficult at best! We had a great team but, the sharks just didn’t want to cooperate. Looking at the bigger picture 2020 ROCKED for the team!!!!!!!!! See the second awarded grant!!!! Amazing collaboration formed as a result of a tremendous group doing tremendous work! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone involved!

ANYONE surfcasting for sharks would be that guy. Don’t kid yourself. You cannot avoid the increased damage caused to the animal as a result of the methodology. The problem is being sadly compounded with every spectator, student or follower that has been inspired to get it. Very disappointing. If they really cared about sharks they would never surfcast for them again. https://www.nytimes.com//n/shark-catchers-long-island.html
