Over four months of not being able to go to swim practice... this is the new normal for a while. When you live in New York State, practices are inside and not outdoors. Quite a difference for these kids but they are all happy to be back. #covid19

Thank goodness the weather has improved. This is where the kids spend a majority of their days and nights once distance learning is finished for the day. It’s a completely different lunch than they are used to but we will take it. #quarantinelife #covid19

Quarantine has been really difficult on these kids. To go from sports 6 days a week to being forced to stay home and teach themselves a demanding course load. Today was the first nice day in a long time where they could just sit outside and feel somewhat normal. My heart breaks that this is how they will end their eighth grade year... no school trip, no awards ceremony, and possibly no graduation. This will definitely be a year to remember.
