We’d like to remind residents that our very own Fairport Farmers Market is open Saturdays through November 20th, from 7am - noon. The Market location is off South Main St. in the Village Landing/Bank of America parking lot. There is parking across the street behind Village Hall (31 S. Main St.) in the Packet's Landing parking lot as well as on-street parking in the area. Safety guidelines will be in place and enforced as required by the Village of Fairport and in response to state and county guidelines. Why not start your weekend by visiting the market for a bit of fresh produce, annuals, perennials and so much more!

This weekend, June 5th and 6th, Fairport Canal Days is celebrating their 44th year as a premier juried art festival in the Northeast. The village festival area on the Erie Canal will be offering food, merchants, art of all kinds and music for your entertainment from 10am - 5pm each day. Still looking for some last minute gifts or even something for yourself this holiday? Look no further.Lincoln Hill Farms, located at 3792 NY-247 in Canandaigua, is having a two hour course this Sunday, December 20th on how to make two festive glasses to share or keep for yourself. There are two different glasses that day to choose from, a Santa glass or gnome glass. The Santa glass course is from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm and the gnome glass theme course is held from 2:00 pm - to... 4:00 pm. The cost is $35 /seat. All paints, glasses, and brushes are provided for you during this two hour course and all COVID protocols safety guidelines will be strictly followed. There are other activities also happening that day at Lincoln Hill Farms such as horse drawn carriage rides from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. This Saturday, the RPO @ Home presents Holiday Chamber Ensembles with Brass Quintet. This holiday program will be available for streaming from December 8, 2020 through January 26, 2021 for your listening pleasure. This Saturday Dec 5th, beginning at 3:00 pm, the Town of Webster and the Webster Emergency Responder Council will host the 2020 Holiday Parade of Lights. This event is a drive through parade. First Responders and local businesses will be in stationary positions throughout the Webster Xerox parking lot with lighted vehicles, floats and more. The 1 1/2 miles of holiday magic is located at 800 Phillips Road in Webster and lasts until 8:00 pm. Saturday’s weather appears to be perfect for an outing to the Fairport Farmers Market. The market will be open for two more weekends, with Nov. 21st as it’s last day for the season. The locally-grown vegetables, apples and flowers are plentiful and a riot of color at the moment; a great addition to a festive table. Saturdays, 7am noon. When finished at the market take a stroll around the shops of the Fairport Village Landing: Skips Meat Market, Red Bird Market, Anything Goes Clothing & Consignment, Bits and Pieces, The Dollar Store, the UPS Store and Casa Vin’Arte.
