Check out another way to support Rerun and raise funds for the program. We are now offering RV parking and within the first 3 days, have had 2 bookings. Next time you pass through, remember we offer parking for RV's, 5th Wheels and travel trailers. https://www.hipcamp.com//lisa/rv-parking-on-racehorse-farm
Monster energy drink sent 35 employees to Rerun today. They used 10 gallons of paint, 5 gallons of weed killer, painted fences, weed eated, lopped trees, tidied flower beds, painted jumps and even power washed the backhoe. They provided a wonderful lunch and left us with a selection of drinks. An absolutely wonderful gesture and a fantastic day - the farm looks awesome!
New arrival American Ruler by Triple Crown winner American Pharoah
Video of First Opportunity - love his canter https://youtu.be/OUFQxu4HuSw
We have a really, really special guy looking for a home. His name is First Opportunity and he retired to Rerun over 2 years ago. He was adopted and has been in the same home ever since. Due to his family experiencing changes due to covid, they sadly had to return him. He was always a big lad but is now close to 17hh and built like a tank. He retired originally with a tendon bow which was cold and set when he left and he has had no issues since. He is sound and suitable for al...l pursuits including jumping and has no vices. He is an absolute sweet heart and he is not happy to be back. He misses his routine and having his own person - he very much enjoyed night turnout in a herd. This is what his adopter said - "he was getting ridden 2-3X/wk by the girl that was half leasing him. He has a nice, balanced/forward trot, the canter is not quite 'finished' however. We've only done flatwork - no jumping. I dont think it would take too much to get him show ready, he's been in an arena with lots of working horses. He'll be a gem for someone, he has a great personality and loves people." He is up to date on everything and ready to go, 6 years old and had only 3 starts. Video will be posted later today Adoption Fee $1000 See more
Another new arrival - the super cute Cashmere Queen! https://youtu.be/ZK8TyrRB-E4
Video from this morning of Pave It. We are experieincing record highs today so this was in and out before it got too hot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2b6ZzclAgg
Check out Daithi! How cute is this guy? He is 3 years old, ran just 2 weeks ago and has been retired just a week. Very uncomplicated ride - walk, trot, canter both ways - easily picks up both leads and just very easy. Standing currently 15.3hh, he will grow a little more and fill out. By Frost Giant, we have found his offspring to be very athletic. Daithi ran just 5 times, retiring as non competitive - he has no injuries and no vices. Suitable for all pursuits. Adoption Fee $...500 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aikK6hB_USw
Budokan has it all. He is big, just under 17.2hh, 6 years old, no injuries or vices and very eye catching. I rode him extensively through the summer even with a broken wrist and ankle and he was awesome for getting on and letting me slither down the side of him to minimize the impact on my ankle. He W/T/C both ways, easily picks up his leads, has been started over fences and shows he might be quite tidy and scopey over bigger fences. He has trail ridden alone and in company ...and is just really uncomplicated. Good to haul, farrier etc, has been out with other geldings and there are no issues in the stall. Has the occasional little spook if you are not paying attention but nothing dramatic or crazy. Never bucked or reared. He would be ready to show this spring with minimal prep. I fully intended to show him last year but then covid happened. Adoption Fee $1800 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=365EWeixoCY

Local Hero is staying local here in Upstate NY with his new adopter
One of the first horses we took from New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association Take The Lead program - Mister Woolman. After competing at WEC, HITS, Saratoga and Vermont, the youth rider needs a larger horse so he is now for sale. Would totally clean up on any local circuit. Message me for info if interested and we can put you in touch with his owner.
The prettiest pony in the world...Local Hero has been adopted!
