Weekly Employee Spotlight: Please meet Cassie Panus- Our Patient Care Assistant. She will be that smile you see when you first come to the office and as you leave the office. She will be happy to help you! How long have you worked at RES? I have been working at RES since July of 2018, looking back I can't believe it has been that long it sure doesn't feel like it!... What do you like most about your job? What I like most about my job is being able to interact with the patients. I enjoy working at the front of the office and greeting the patients when they first walk in. I value a good front of office when I go to offices myself so I strive to be as kind as I can to make the process less stressful and more enjoyable for everyone. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without? One thing I could not go a day without would probably be talking to my family. I am very close with my family especially my niece Charlotte. What makes you laugh the most? I try to find the light in everything so I find myself laughing often. I think it's important to be able to laugh at yourself and not take anything too seriously. Life is too short! If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? If I could choose to do anything for one day it would be to attend a Buffalo Bills Super Bowl, Go Bills!

Why did you choose health care as a career?... After serving in the Navy, I wanted to have an opportunity to continue to make a difference in people’s lives. Working within the health care field offers countless chances to, directly and indirectly, impact the quality of life for people each day. Do you like sports? If so, what is your favorite sport? I love sports and all the emotions that go into it. The adrenaline you experience before an important game, the feeling of team spirit, the agony of defeat and of course the joy of victory. My favorite sport is football. I, of course, root for the Bills as well as whoever is on my fantasy team. What song best describes you? Frank Sinatra My Way What was your first job?
