When's the best time to treat your skin with lotion and keep it hydrated? Right after you shower. Keep your door closed while the humidity is still in the room, and apply your favorite lotion and cream. Stress often leads to tension and chronic tension often creates stress. It's a frustrating cycle for many. So what can you do to help relieve these irritating issues while you're in the tank? Three little words: let it go. The warmth of the water and air in the tank usually eases tension for many, but you can take it a step further by asking yourself what is creating your tension. Sometimes, we tense up while floating, perhaps brought on by negative thinking, an outright str...essful day and so on. Remember to release that tension by letting go if it all. Focus on your breathing, slowly in an out. Hold onto a mantra if it helps ("I'm ok, things are ok"). Peaceful spa music is available, too, for those that need it. Try relaxing your body altogether by stretching in the tank for a moment (there's nothing like a good stretch while floating, as your body is nicely aligned in the near gravity-free solution).
