My DIY Pillow Cover kit has been launched on Etsy! Hooray!! It always feels good to get this completed with new pieces in my shop!!! With Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, I always look at this holiday as the occasion to say thank you to the bounty of the harvest and share this with family and friends ( a little more challenging with Covid). I am saying thank you today as I prepare a pumpkin, from my garden, transforming it into a pie!!! Thanks to the beauty of nature! You take care of it and it takes care of you, so important for a more sustainable future for all on this planet!!!!!! ... When you decide to lead a more sustainable life, one of the best parts is you become more aware of your natural surroundings. It is so important (in my eyes) to work in partnership, taking care of our precious planet. With this pandemic, I find we all need a little help these days to stay inspired! I I wanted to share my creativity in a new way, I have been venturing down a different road to offer up some DIY KITS for sewing at home! These are pillow cover kits for unique accent pillows, perhaps you have some old ones that need freshening up!!!!! They are pre cut and ready to sew, made simple yet unusual for the basic sewer... I have been playing with color and pattern combinations (which I love) and using up fabric remnants!!! From a pillow design from a vintage pillow(1920s), there are 4 corners and sides and I have put a different back, potentially you could arrange them either way. Soon to go my Etsy Shop!!!
