Vintage 70’s Swaim contemporary sofa + armchair designed by John Mascheroni for sale!!

Vintage Swaim Originals sofa + armchair set designed by John Mascheroni in custom floral upholstery fabric. Manufactured between 1973 & 1980. It’s very likely this is a one of a kind set in existence. The cushions are deep and super plush. You do not get anywhere close to hitting the frame when sitting down. The armrests are plush as well. SHE THICC. There are armrest covers in the same material also included in this set for both. ... I am obsessed with the sock bun feets!! There is a metal cap underneath each foot to stand on. Despite how it looks, no fabric is touching the ground! Dimensions are approximately the following: Sofa - 82" long / wide, 36-37" deep, 35" tall, 28" tall ground to arm rest, 20-21" tall ground to seat cushion. Seat cushion is about 5 feet long and 23"deep for sitting space! Armchair - 44" wide, 36-37" deep, 35" tall, 28" tall ground to arm rest, 20-21" tall ground to seat cushion. Seat cushion / sitting space is about 23"deep by 20" wide. The condition is overall amazing, gently used designer vintage. No rips and no stains. Came out of an immaculate home with no pets. $1500 for the sofa + armchair Designing upholstery is not just playing with shapes, it's playing with scale and proportion. The three things that are paramount for success are, style, fabric and the experience of sitting in it. If you fail the last of the three, as a designer, you're dead." The newest addition to my colorful crewel // cross stitch // embroidery art collection! I immediately took it out of the frame to clean it up, and it looks so good! This cross stitch is big.
