RH Singers

Today's senior spotlight is Marisa Wright. Marisa is an alumni of Leary Elementary, and Roth Jr. High. In addition to RH Singers, her other musical activities have included MLK Singers and Dedicated Voices. Her favorite Singers memory was the trip to London when she was a Sophomore. After graduation, she plans to attend college and study business marketing and communications. Today's senior spotlight is Ethan Richardson. Ethan is an alumni of Winslow Elementary, Sherman Elementary, and Roth Jr. High. In addition to RH Singers, his other musical activities have included Orchestra, Barbershop, Celtic Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, and Dedicated Voices. He has also participated in Tri-M, Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, All-County Orchestra, Area All-State Orchestra, and been a church organist. His favorite Singers memory was singing in the Bath Cathedral in Bath, England. His future plans include attending Brigham Young University to major in Aerospace Engineering and serving a church mission to Argentina. Ethan's senior quote is, "Every day is a special occasion." Today's senior spotlight is Emily Laird. Emily is a former student of Burger Jr High and Sherman Elementary. In addition to RH Singers, she is part of the Tri-M Music Honors society. While at Burger, she performed in several musicals including Peter Pan, Mulan, Annie and Wizard of Oz. Her favorite Singers memories were the singing lessons. "Lessons, both before and after covid, were always a lot of fun with the other singers and also being able to talk to Mr. Polvino outside of the class." After graduation, she plans to attend Le Moyne College and majoring in biology in the 4+2 PA Program. Her senior quote is, "The best is yet to come." Abby Walent is today's senior spotlight. Abby is a former student at Roth Jr High and Crane Elementary. In addition to RH Singers, she is a member of the Symphonic Orchestra, Spectrum Singers, and formerly a member of MLK Singers, and Dedicated Voices. She has performed in many musicals over the years, participates in NYSSMA Solofest, and is a Tri-M Music Honor Society member. Her favorite Singers memory was having the opportunity to go to Shakespeare’s house in Stratford Upon Avon, England. After graduation, she plans to go to Keuka college and become an ASL Teacher and Interpreter.
