In March we were asked by Ben Norman if he could share Richard's photograph of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Highland Park by sculptor Wayne Williams. Since then this photograph has been shared over 200,000 times. We are so humbled by this and by the stories we have heard. Thank you for your service and thank you, Ben, for bringing attention to the many that continue to suffer from Agent Orange diseases. Here is a message from Ben about Wayne Williams' sculpture and the me...ssage he hopes you'll share with your representatives. "Dear Richard, I posted a picture of yours on Facebook on March 6th, 2015. "Walking Into the Wall", has touched the hearts of millions of Vietnam veterans, their families and friends due to Agent Orange related deaths and diseases. The post HAS GONE VIRAL, as of today the post has been shared over 205,000 times (not likes...shares). I have had numerous people ask about your picture and I have given them your name and e-mail address. I have also had numerous people want to know where the memorial is located in Rochester, NY. I believe there should be an increase in the amount of people visiting the memorial this year just because of the post. Anyway I wanted to let you know how many lives you and I have touched. Here are the words your picture inspired in me to write on my Facebook post. Vietnam veterans with Agent Orange diseases continue to march into the Vietnam Wall to join their fallen brothers. These men and women will not be remembered as fatalities of the Vietnam War. Their names will not be engraved into the Vietnam Wall...yet they are still victims of the Vietnam War. These veterans have died slow deaths BECAUSE of their country and won't be remembered as dying FOR their country. This is truly a gripping photograph of the Vietnam Memorial in Rochester, New York. HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE REALLY DIED FROM THE VIETNAM WAR? If you would...please email this to your local congressman or Senator. It would send a strong message for the families of Vietnam veterans who have lost their lives to Agent Orange. Thank you, Richard George "Ben" Norman, 25th Infantry Division Sniper, Vietnam 1970-1971"
