Have you registered yet for the WPBS contest? If not, do it today, deadline is March 12. Have you ever heard of "THE PACK HORSE LIBRARY". I found a nice article in the latest Elks Magazine that will give you some highlights of what it is about . . . and then if you find you really want to learn more about it there are a couple books on the subject. "The Giver of Stars" by J.J. Moyes is a great read, and a little different style book on the subject is "The Book Woman of Troub...lesome Creek" by Kim Michele Richardson. The article is in the library from the Elks Magazine, if you would like to come in, sit for a bit, and read it . . . I think you will find it quite interesting what these woman did for our country. Have a great week, and don't forget when you are looking for something to do late at night or early in the morning . . . sign on to ncls.org -- your log in information is your library card no. and the last 4 digits of your phone number -- they have thousands of books you can have delivered right here to the library, we get delivery every Tuesday. If you ever need help call the library, 315-287-1481 and one of the volunteers will help you. Have a great week!! Nancy See more

The library will be closed this evening in observance of MLK Jr. day. We have many books on Martin Luther King Jr. in the North Country Library network. Anyone interested in checking them out can inquire when we resume our normal hours starting tomorrow. Stay safe and happy everyone.
