In Philadelphia, leading up to July 4, 1776 everyone was not onboard with seceding from Great Britain. It was not an easy decision. They had no military and no money, both things the British had in spades. It would’ve been much easier to simply obey the Crown, stick with the monarchy and aristocracy, and pay the high taxes without representation. It was John Adams that gave such a moving speech that day on the floor which convinced everyone of the value of freedom no matter w...hat. He dedicated his entire life, sacrificing his health and wealth to the fight for American Liberty against British Tyranny, and asked for nothing in return. It was solely based upon principle. At 91 years old, on the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, he spoke his last public words in a toast, Independence Forever. Do not bend for anything or anyone my friends. . . . . . #slikric #slikriccards #savannah #savannahgeorgia #savannahga #georgia #cardtable #cardician #america #american #usa #theunitedstatesofamerica #poker #cards #playingcards #bicycleplayingcards #americaspasttime #americanflag #freedom #cardmechanic #cardsharp #cardshark #independenceday #4thofjuly #juky4th #1776 #madeinusa #johnadams #independenceforever #independence

Our bodies are museums containing all of our history. They are ecosystems of competing personalities from each person that has been in our lives, particularly our primary relationships. Personalities are infectious. We internalize them right from birth. And they have a capacity to be far more damaging, crippling and dangerous to us than sugar or poor movement patterns could ever be. This is why it matters so greatly as to who we decide to spend our time with. Image by @icreatelife_
