So much to update, where to begin! Our scholarship winners are still doing great, and we are busy planning for summer. We are still gathering and giving bikes to folks who will use them, AND we are happy to share resources with adults who want to get kids riding but don't have bikes. Updates: Our two winners, Umut and Travis. Umut came out for a couple laps of the park, and Travis *asked to come with Coach Aliya* to Bear, where he proceeded to drop her (at her encouragement) on every hill. With the racing scholarship and Trek Bicycle and Trek Bicycle Stuyvesant Town, we are supporting talent and commitment.

This is Umut, our femme winner of the Ride Up Grades Road Racing Scholarship! She is a graduate of the @ichallengemyselfnyc cycling program that finished with a century ride. . When her group of Gravesend students rode to Kissena, she was the only one of the group courageous enough to lap the track! There was a crowd - it was Saturday afternoon - and other students begged off, saying they were a bit intimidated. But not Umut. . She has the skills, and thanks to Trek Bicycle Stuytown, she will soon have a bike.
