Many thanks to the Westchester County Government, the Westchester Public Private Partnership, the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services and Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation. For 52 years, they have hosted Salute to Seniors. The challenges of 2020 prevented them from holding this popular event last year, but they're back for 2021! RideConnect is happy to announce that the 53rd Annual Salute to seniors has been re-imagined as four safer, smaller, outdoor, regional events in Northern, Central and Southern Westchester. These events will feature music as well as information on programs, services and products targeted to the senior community. Representatives from RideConnect will be there to answer any questions about us that you may have....

Another big thank you to more community partners. For 10 years, the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Mt Kisco Fox Center have helped RideConnect connect with seniors in need of transportation services, and most recently, our volunteer shopping service. We Need You! The United Way food distribution program in partnership with RideConnect of FSW needs volunteers to help with food delivery this Thursday at 10AM. Each volunteer who signs up will use their own car to deliver pre-packed food bags to 5-6 families in need around the Carmel, Mahopac, Brewster areas.
