Check out these 3 cool facts about the New York City Subway! . 1. The first subway cost five cents to ride Only in 2003 Metro-cards were introduced! ... 2. There was once a V train It was later replaced by the M train. There also once were double-lettered trains, and numbered trains up to 13. 3. There's an abandoned station under City Hall You can still catch a glimpse of it if you stay on the 6 train after the last stop.
