Wow wow wow! Did a double today, left this morning to BIG water and struggled to find a good bite. We only ended up with only 3 this morning in our 4 hour trip. The lake laid down this evening and we were able to fill up our K2 Coolers 120qt with a limit of 12 fish in 3 hours! Rigged cut bait on Minion Fly Company flo bot was our stud with Warrior Lures Sport Fishing Products green spoiler did great as well as the minion money fly on our 450 Torpedo Divers weighted steel. Mul...tiple doubles and triples kept our clients busy! Divers in the Muddycreek optimizer rod holders made it easy for our guys to get on the rods easy. Saturday we fished the first leg of the Bald Eagle tournament series. We left the dock at 5:30am set up in 200ft of water and headed north. The rods started popping before we could get them all in the water. Our Minion meat rigs with RIGGED cut bait and flies were on fire on our north troll. We had our 3 fish box by 6:30am and were looking for upgrades. We spent the day taking steady bites on a mixture of Torpedo steel lines with Minion meat rigs and Rigged meat off ...our boards and our 65 rigger with spoons. The new Minion black/uv flasher with night fury meat rig on 450 steel line took our biggest king at just over 20lbs. We had a great day on the water taking over 20 bites but we just couldnt find that kicker fish to put us in the money. We finished in 12th place out of 30 boats.
