Yesterday was our last day of operation for what might be a lengthy hiatus. These difficult actions are very unfortunate, but are a necessity and requirement due to NY state covid-19 mandates. We don't know how long this closure is expected to last, but some states, Texas for example, have even mandated bars and restaurants stay closed all the way out to May. While we strongly believe that this all too shall pass and @Riley.Street.Station will rebound stronger than ever, ...It's hard not to admit this mandated closure is going to hurt us, our employees and all other NY restaurants very badly. Many of those Mom and Pop places we have grown to love over the years may not weather this storm. It's hard to dispute that when the dust of this coronavirus chaos settles, the culinary and imbibery world as you knew it will have been drastically altered. Who knows what's in store for us when that day comes... However, what we do know and have control over is how we handle our own particular hardships when faced with them. Our owner, loving known as "Babe" spent the day disinfecting our facility top to bottom. Then she delivered all of our perishable goods to the local assisted living center in East Aurora as a donation. Returning then back to @Riley.Street.Station to buy one last round of drinks for our die hard patrons who stuck it out for a very odd 8pm last call experience. It was a busy and emotional day for her to say the least. As for today, we can do nothing but hold out hope that things will change for the better sooner rather than later. But until then, we would like to send a special "Thank You" to all of you current and former customers. Thank you for all you have given us in our 34 years of operation, we look forward to serving you again real soon. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay vigilant.

Effective Monday March 16, we will have new abbreviated hours of operation to in response to the growing coronavirus concerns. This allows us to better manage our staff, patrons and vendors. New Hours of Operation M-TH: open at 4pm - close (evenings only) Fri-Sun: 12noon - close... In addition we are closely monitoring the 50% capacity mandate. @Riley.Street.Station is very fortunate to have one of the larger venues in East Aurora. This ensures that patrons naturally enjoy personal space and social distancing as needed. The health department lists our normal indoor capacity at ~200 patrons, which suggests 100 patrons is our current target. We regularly see a drop in business each year during the first few months which will aid in this effort. In addition we are continuing our practice of disinfecting our surfaces, tables and bar top after each use. Additionally we regularly follow the highest of health guidelines in our kitchen, which includes regular deep cleanings. We promise we will do everything in our capabilities to keep you safe and healthy. We in turn ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home and contact your health professional. We promise to have a cold drink and hot meal ready for you once you get well again. Thank you all for your continued patronage, stay safe and be well!
