Dr. Brenda Abu, Assistant Professor of Nutrition in RIT College Of Health Sciences and Technology is this week's #IamRITfaculty video interview. Her research centers on how nutrient deficiencies and food insecurity impacts maternal & child health. Her career has taken her to Ghana, South Africa, the Netherlands, and Texas. Now, Dr. Abu calls Rochester Institute of Technology her home. She has created global experiential learning programs for students to study anemia in Ghana & hopes to take another group to Greece next year.
