Nowruz, known as the Persian new year, is one of the most ancient celebrations in history and has been celebrated for around 4000 years in what is now Iran and in the extended cultural area known as Greater Iran. It is an ancient celebration with the spring equinox as the main event occurring on 20 or 21 March every year. For this year's Nowruz celebration, we have Live Persian Music Performance, Persian Food from Chortke Kabob House, and a special stand-up performance by comedian Tehran Von Ghasri. The event is free for everyone, but RSVP is required. RSVP Link: https://goo.gl/forms/eTeD8NN0HfRQOewh2
