BELLE IS HOME! We called Belle's owner this morning (Tuesday) to confirm and Belle has returned. We do not know the whole situation on how she returned but she ...is back home. We cannot thank everyone enough who went out looking, shared the post, called us for more information, or had Belle in their thoughts. We are so grateful the community could come together to help Belle and her family Update as of 6:24pm Monday: Belle's owner has not let us know that Belle has been found. We are leaving the office for the day but as soon as we get into the shelter tomorrow morning, we will call her owner and get an update. Thank you to everyone who shares this post and we hope someone finds Belle soon More Information Update: Belle is calico and the carrier is pink. Still Missing! WE NEED YOUR HELP! An elderly lady is in distress as her cat is missing. She is suffering from memory issues and left her cat in a carrier somewhere in the Village of Hamburg. The cats name is Belle and she is about 9 years old. She did not tell us anything else about Belle, just that she is in a carrier. We are teaming up with HEART Rescue and the Hamburg Village Vet to help bring her home. It is very hot out today so we hope she gets found quickly! Please do not leave any negative comments about this situation, no one asks to have dementia and she already feels terrible. If you see a cat in the carrier, give us a call at 716-646-5577 ext.2.
