We take poverty personally. The RIVER FUND community would be facing an insurmountable challenge without the support of the wider community individuals, corporations, foundations, everyone. The pandemic impacted our society in ways that are still unfolding. Needless to say, those we serve are hit in ways that are hard to comprehend. Countless families have lost their jobs and unemployment is insufficient to pay even a portion of the rent, never mind any other needed esse...ntials - groceries, medicine and more. The intense complications only compound as the crisis wears on. On this #GivingTuesday, we ask you to invest or re-invest in our work with a gift that will be earmarked to our emergency food services and all of the logistics required to help sustain these additional robust expenses. Gifts of any size will make an immediate impact. $10,000 will support our COVID Extreme Hardship Grant Program which provides relief in case of devastating hardship and emergencies caused by the pandemic. $10 will buy lunch for one of our youth RIVER FUND started in the belief that caring for each other is the best part of who we are.
