Save the date! After a productive & successful work session with the Town of Riverhead Board this morning Tom Gatz has secured Saturday November 13th, 2021 as the date for the 5th annual Islip 300 @ Riverhead Raceway. Rain dates of Sunday November 14th or if needed Saturday November 20th are also in place. Eddie & Connie Partridge & Tom Gatz would like to express their appreciation to the Town of Riverhead for working with the track to secure these dates. The complete 2021 Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series schedule will be released next week.

Riverhead Raceway 2021 car number registration is now open by visiting www.riverheadraceway.com and following the link at the top of the page. There is a deadline of March 31st, 2021 and a $50 registration fee. Teams must also provide W-9 information. The 2021 NASCAR License renewal form can also be found on our home page. We want to wish everyone at Riverhead Raceway a very Happy New Year!

Riverhead Raceway would like to announce & congratulate our 2020 Rookie of the Year Drivers: NASCAR Modifieds- Justin Brown Late Models- Brandon Turbush Crate Modifieds- Richie Davidowitz Figure Eights- Chris Elliott... Blunderbust-no eligible rookie drivers in 2020 Super Pro Trucks- Max Handley Legend Race Cars- Anthony Colandro Jr. Our 2020 RoY drivers along with the 2nd through 5th place drivers from 2020 will receive their awards in the Spring of 2021 after our second practice day in the Turn 3 picnic area. Drivers are eligible for Rookie of the Year honors providing they have run 50% or less races in any one season prior. The six RoY drivers from 2020 have met those guidelines. The formula was adopted when several divisions began receiving off nights during the season.

The spirit among competitors and fans alike was fantastic. Congratulations to Ryan Preece on his 2nd Islip 300 win as well as Tom Rogers Jr. (Crate Mods) and Mike Alcaro (Legend Race Cars) on their victories. 2020 was different no question but our loyal staff, race teams and fans made it all possible.
