Riverton Disc Golf Course 08.11.2020

Course Update: 2, 4, 7 & 9 are in the B Position. I made a subtle but much needed adjustment to the Blue tee pad on #15. Also a NEW GOLD TEE on #15 has been added. No pad yet, but it’s clearly marked.... NEW & IMPROVED BLUE TEE on #17 has been carved out. No pad down yet, but it is marked with flags. It’s off to the left. This placement gives it a totally different feel and makes it a challenging par 3. Myself and Christopher DeMartin have been steadily working on #14 - B pin!!! We thought it would be fun to have another totally different shot. Once we set the new pin, both A & B will ALWAYS be in play.

Ladies and gentlemen we are pleased to announce that we will be re-branding the Roc City Open (RCO) for 2021. It will now be called the Riverton Open Classic (ROC) ... and we’ll be expanding to a 2-day, B-Tier, 144 players and we’ll be utilizing both the disc golf course AND the ball golf course!!!! The name change is a perfect fit and pays homage to the rich history behind the making of the disc golf course. ... My dad helped build the clubhouse back in ‘86 and he taught me how to golf at Riverton. 30 some years later he says to me hey why don’t you put in a disc golf course over behind Hole 2? ...and I freakin’ did it!!! OCT 9th & 10th 2021 - SAVE THE DATE!!!!!

ATTENTION ALL DISC GOLFERS: Having access to golf carts is a PRIVILEGE that is hard to come by at most courses. But it has come to my attention that many have been abusing that privilege and several carts have been damaged. Please don’t ruin it for the rest of us. Drive at a leisurely pace. Watch out for bumps and stumps. I’m doing my best to mark them all but I am only one man.... If you see someone driving recklessly, call them out and let us know in the clubhouse. We’ll make sure to blacklist them from using carts in the future. As always, be safe and have fun out there on the course. Michael J. Klock Course Designer
