Tinker Robotics Program is designed specifically with Pre-K kids' needs in mind so they can have fun as they grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and mentally. Our STEM activities encourage learning through play, experimenting, trying something new, and trying again. And, with the focus on the process, your tiny people will learn to be more willing to fail and then to persevere. Tenacity is an important skill at any age and especially important for preschoolers who are acquiring all new knowledge about the world while they get ready for the Kindergarten year- an important milestone in their early years! Our STEM based program emphasizes on bridging the learning gap by putting the children at the core of experience, making them active learners from passive listeners. Phonics, recognizing letters and sounds, large motor skills, fine motor skills, shapes and colors, story time, etc. are some of the area of focus of our Tinker Program that we try to inculcate in a fun learning environment. The goal is to boost self confidence in our little PreK kids with an aspiration to achieve their dreams. And the "wow" factor comes in when our Dash and Dot Robots help them play and learn!

ROBOTICS & REAL LIFE APPLICATIONS We are so proud of all our Apprentice Engineers who designed their MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS using Gears. The goal was to explore different types of gears used in many engineering devices, including wind-up toys, bicycles, cars and non-digital clocks and to tradeoff between speed and power(torque) in a robot design. Students learnt about GEARING-UP and GEARING-DOWN and applied this knowledge to building their MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS with gears and program...ming them. They learnt the proper placement of Driver, Driven and Idler gears to make their mountain climbers climb the steep inclination slope! While recording their observations they realized that it’s difficult to travel uphill or against the wind but a good gear system is useful in adjusting the power needed to keep moving!
