Roc City Sailing

Sailing classes for this summer are a GO! Roc City Sailing will be holding week-long sailing instruction sessions from June 28 - July 16. Week 1 is Youth Beginner Week 2 is Mixed (Youth/Adult) Intermediate Week 3 is a Youth Beginner (morning) and Adult Beginner (Afternoon)... We will also be offering private lessions as we did last year. And we are looking into other possibilities for people to learn and enjoy sailing - stay tuned! The weather is beautiful, the wind is great. But due to COVID-19, all we need now is the "all clear" from state and local officials to hold our summer sailing classes and camps. We are actively evaluating if and how we might be able be open and still keep everyone safe. If you are interested in a session, we recommend you register, but do not submit payment at this time. We may need to cancel or reschedule, but we will hold a spot for you. Keep your fingers crossed and STAY TUNED!

We've changed our name from Rochester Community Sailing to Roc City Sailing to better reflect our laid-back and fun-loving nature. Plus, it's way easier to say ;-)

Getting ready for the start of the RCS tag team 'scavenger hunt' around the bay. The teams had to take turns sailing to bouys that had letters on them. They then had to figure out what the letters spelled. Team sailing AND spelling!

Not the best day for sailing camp today, but the Youth Beginner group had a beautiful morning yesterday as they took trips around the Bay all by themselves (with assistance from instructors as needed)!
