In addition to an artist talk by multidisciplinary artist Ong Siraphisut, join us for a short breathing meditation guided by Sarah Webb, then stick around for a drink and chat on July 8, at 6pm! From the artist studio to the yoga studio, Webb's multi-disciplinary approach considers both spaces as creative sites of corporeal process and practice. For over fifteen years, Webb has taught and mentored students in yoga, writing, and meditation. The Days the Artists Spoke provide a great opportunity for artists to talk about their craft, medium, and artwork! The public art installation, Underpin & Overcoat takes the form of oversized buttons that are proportionally scaled to ornament several Rochester buildings. Incorporating expressions, icons, sayings, and slogan, these buttons are affixed to several building facades between Rochester Contemporary Art Center (137 East Ave.) and Susan B. Anthony Museum and House (17 Madison St.)! . .
