Teeming with whim...sy, the dense embroideries balance tight stitches with loose ends that form the three-dimensional thistle heads, violet pansies, and various florals. To create the fairytale scenes, Andreeva first sketches the flora and fauna onto her fabric and then layers the textured details in thread and beads See more

Students at the GCSD Phoenix Academy build a learning garden at their school and hired Rochester Roots to support their initiative. The students and food service department want fresh local produce to prepare into healthy lunches showing that if children are given agency they will stay engaged and make choices to support their own success.
Early Bird Registration is open for the ISSST 2019 Symposium. Rochester Roots will be presenting Sustainability Education and Entrepreneurship (SEE): A new-knowledge process in the face of complexity and accelerating change for children in grades preK-6.
