Often, we're asked about what playgrounds can do to be more accessible...and what we're really being asked is why aren't playgrounds -- the foundation of childhood and play -- inclusive of all kids and their parents, grandparents? Why do these spaces prevent the very thing they are supposed to encourage? Universal design STARTS with ALL in mind...not as an afterthought. Let's do it!
