More exciting announcements! We are thrilled to announce that we have been invited to perform with Rochester Gay Men's Chorus on their July 9th ROC'n Rainbow concert as part of PRIDE festival! Mark your calendars - it's going to be a great show! If you have not been attending Tuesday rehearsals so far this spring and are interested in performing with us , please reach out to Kristy ([email protected]). We are working with capacity restrictions at DUPC but want to find a way to include everyone who wants to sing.
We are excited to announce we will be back in-person for rehearsals starting March 1, 2022. We are asking folks to fill out a registration form so we know who will be participating this season. You do not need to commit to coming every week, but we need this information for planning purposes. All of the information for this season can be found below! *Rehearsals will be Tuesday nights from 6:45pm-7:45pm in DUPC's Celebration Hall. We will be following DUPC's guidelines for ...returning in person which includes limiting capacity to 25 people, social distancing, masks, and protocols for air ventilation. *All singers need to be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination status will be required. The definition of fully vaccinated can be found on the CDC website. *We are asking that singers wear either a N-95, KN-95, or a KF-94 mask. If you do not have one, we will provide one :-) https://forms.gle/HBj18K2iJd2JSCZz9
Hello all! We are going to start rehearsals tomorrow night as we originally planned! We will be meeting at Temple B'rith Kodesh at 2131 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14618 from 6pm-7:30pm. You can join us any time in that window; vaccines are required to sing with us this season. We have a plan to meet at the temple every other week through mid-October and then we will reevaluate based on weather and rates of COVID-19. Please bring a chair, water bottle, proof of vaccine, and a book light if you have one. We are looking forward to being together again!
From our friends at the Out Alliance: If you or someone that you may know that is in need of food please email us at [email protected]. The Out Alliance has limited resources to provide food, so distribution will be conducted on a first come first served basis until those resources are exhausted.
Current and former singers: We are starting our second virtual video project - Lean On Me/We Shall Overcome! If you would like to participate but did not receive the email tonight with all of the details, email Kristy at [email protected] and let her know you're interested!

Jeannette Rankin was the first woman elected to Congress. She was elected in 1916, 4 years before the 19th Amendment granted all American women the right to vote.
Ripples of Change, designed by renowned sculptor Jane DeDecker, will depict four activists whose work spanned generations, including Laura Cornelius Kellogg, Harriet Tubman, Martha Coffin Wright, and Sojourner Truth.
Our coffee fundraiser is still going strong! Get your orders in by tomorrow (Nov. 15).
"My mother would look at me and she’d say, 'Kamala, you may be the first to do many things, but make sure you are not the last.' That’s why breaking those barriers is worth it. As much as anything else, it is also to create that path for those who will come after us." ~Kamala Harris, the first woman elected Vice President of the United States, elected on the 100th anniversary of American women gaining the right to vote
So many people showed up for early voting in Monroe County yesterday that lines were over an hour long! Keep up the good work!
Early voting starts today! Make your voice heard!
If you love coffee, you'll love our latest fundraiser! We're teaming up again with Evening Star Coffee Roasters. You can see all of the flavor options and place your order at the form below.

We hope you've all registered to vote! Next on your voting checklist, if you're voting in person, is to check your polling location - many voters will need to go to a different location this year. Monroe County voters can check at the link below.
We have been celebrating 100 years of American women's right to vote but let's not forget Canada! Today marks the anniversary of the court case which legally established women as persons under Canadian law.
A giant Thank You to everyone who donated to our Making Strides team! We raised $400 for the American Cancer Society. Our donation page is still open for last minute donations. Walk, Sisters, Walk! (even if we have to do it virtually)
Making Strides 2020 is tomorrow! It's not too late to make a donation that supports cancer research and funds services for cancer patients. You can sponsor our team at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/rwcchorus
We doubt any of our fans were around to vote 100 years ago when American women first won the right to vote - but if any of you have voting stories from your mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friends, etc., we would love to hear them! And most importantly, please honor their memory and VOTE!
We aren't able to sing in person at Making Strides this year but you can still hear us... Make sure you turn your speakers on as you watch this video set to our recording of Walk, Sister!
Don't forget to watch us today at 2:00!
